आज सुबह 5 बजे से इंदौर के नेहरू स्टेडियम से ‘यूथ वॉक-2026’ शुरू होगी। इसे लेकर यातायात पुलिस ने शहर के कई प्रमुख मार्गों पर ट्रैफिक डायवर्जन लागू किया है। इस आयोजन में शामिल होने के लिए हजारों युवाओं ने पंजीयन कराया है। नशे से दूरी का संदेश देने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित इस वॉक के कारण सरवटे जाने वाली बसों के रूट भी बदले जाएंगे।

एसीपी जोन-3 हिंदूसिंह मुवेल ने जानकारी दी कि रविवार सुबह 5 बजे से यूथ वॉक के समापन तक संबंधित मार्गों पर यातायात प्रतिबंधित रहेगा। इस दौरान केवल इमरजेंसी वाहनों को ही इन रास्तों से गुजरने की अनुमति दी जाएगी।

<strong>देवास, खंडवा और खरगोन रूट की बसों के बदले रास्ते</strong>

देवास से आकर सरवटे बस स्टैंड जाने वाली बसों को पीपल्याहाना, कृषि कॉलेज, डेली कॉलेज, आजाद नगर गोल चौराहा, नवलखा, अग्रसेन से छावनी अनाज मंडी रोड और गुजराती कॉलेज होते हुए भेजा जाएगा। खंडवा और खरगोन की बसें नवलखा से अग्रसेन, छावनी अनाज मंडी रोड और अर्जुन प्याऊ होते हुए सरवटे पहुंचेंगी। सरवटे बस स्टैंड से निकलने वाली बसों को रीगल, मधु मिलन, गीताभवन और पीपल्याहाना के रास्ते से संचालन किया जाएगा।

यूथ वॉक में शामिल होने वाले प्रतिभागियों के लिए मेडिकल हॉस्टल के सामने बंगला नंबर 4 के ग्राउंड में पार्किंग की व्यवस्था की गई है। पार्किंग में जाने वाली बसें व्हाइट चर्च से मेडिकल टी होकर ही प्रवेश कर सकेंगी। आवश्यकता अनुसार अन्य खाली स्थानों पर भी वाहन पार्क करवाए जाएंगे।

‘यूथ वॉक-2026’ का आयोजन टीम रुद्राक्ष द्वारा किया जा रहा है, जिसके संयोजक गोलू शुक्ला हैं। अब तक करीब 25 हजार युवाओं ने रजिस्ट्रेशन कराया है। प्रतिभागियों को आयोजन स्थल पर टी-शर्ट और कैप वितरित की जाएगी। यह 3 किलोमीटर की वॉक नेहरू स्टेडियम से शुरू होकर जीपीओ, छावनी, मधु मिलन, एमवाय अस्पताल, शिवाजी वाटिका होते हुए वापस नेहरू स्टेडियम पर समाप्त होगी। इसमें स्कूल, कॉलेज और विभिन्न एकेडमी के युवा शामिल होंगे।
