मंदसौर जिले में रविवार को मौसम ने अचानक करवट ले ली। जिले के मल्हारगढ़ तहसील के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बारिश, आंधी और ओलावृष्टि देखने को मिली। मंदसौर जिले के अनेक क्षेत्रों में तेज बारिश हुई, जबकि मल्हारगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र के ग्राम झारड़ा सहित आसपास के गांवों में ओलावृष्टि के दृश्य सामने आए। रविवार शाम करीब आधे घंटे तक तेज बारिश के साथ ओले गिरे, जिससे सड़कों और खेतों में बर्फ जैसी सफेद चादर बिछ गई। कई स्थानों पर लोग घरों के आंगन में फावड़े से ओले समेटते नजर आए। मंदसौर जिले की सीमा से लगे ग्राम पालसोडा और भंवरासा क्षेत्र में भी ओलावृष्टि हुई, जहां का नजारा मिनी कश्मीर जैसा दिखाई दिया। अचानक बदले मौसम से किसानों की चिंता बढ़ गई है। बारिश और ओलावृष्टि के कारण कई इलाकों में अफीम सहित गेहूं चना की फसल आड़ी हो गई, जिससे नुकसान की आशंका जताई जा रही है।

मौसम विभाग ने नीमच, मंदसौर सहित 14 जिलों में आंधी और बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया है। अगले 24 घंटे तक प्रदेश के कई हिस्सों में बादल और कोहरे की स्थिति बने रहने की संभावना है।

मंदसौर जिले में विशेष रूप से मल्हारगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र के झारड़ा, काचरिया देव, किशनगढ़, मनासा खुर्द, हरमाला, अरनिया देव, पामाखेड़ा सहित अन्य गांवों में असमय बारिश और ओलावृष्टि से फसलों को नुकसान होने की सूचना मिली है। ओलावृष्टि की जानकारी मिलते ही मल्हारगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विधायक एवं उप मुख्यमंत्री व वित्त मंत्री जगदीश देवड़ा ने मंदसौर कलेक्टर अदिति गर्ग से दूरभाष पर चर्चा कर प्रभावित गांवों में तत्काल मौके पर पहुंचकर सर्वे करवाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में अधिकारियों की टीम भेजकर फसल नुकसान का आकलन किया जाए।देवड़ा ने कहा कि मोहन यादव के नेतृत्व में राज्य सरकार किसानों के साथ हर परिस्थिति में खड़ी है। किसान चिंतित न हों, जहां भी ओलावृष्टि या असमय बारिश से नुकसान हुआ है, वहां सरकार राहत और सहायता के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाएगी।
