टीकमगढ़ जिले के ग्राम मानिकपुरा के सरपंच प्रभु रैकवार को जल जीवन मिशन के सफल क्रियान्वयन में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए नई दिल्ली में आयोजित जल महोत्सव में सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान उन्हें पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता विभाग, जल शक्ति मंत्रालय द्वारा प्रदान किया गया।

नई दिल्ली के विज्ञान भवन में आयोजित जल महोत्सव कार्यक्रम में देशभर से जल प्रबंधन और स्वच्छता के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले जनप्रतिनिधियों और अधिकारियों को आमंत्रित किया गया था। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में महामहीम राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू उपस्थित रहीं। उनके मुख्य आतिथ्य में आयोजित इस समारोह में विभिन्न राज्यों के प्रतिनिधियों को जल संरक्षण, पेयजल उपलब्धता और जनभागीदारी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किए गए कार्यों के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। इसी क्रम में टीकमगढ़ जिले के ग्राम मानिकपुरा के सरपंच प्रभु रैकवार को जल जीवन मिशन के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन, ग्रामीणों को स्वच्छ पेयजल उपलब्ध कराने और योजना के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए प्रशंसा पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। गांव में पाइपलाइन के माध्यम से घर-घर नल से जल पहुंचाने, जल स्रोतों के संरक्षण तथा ग्रामवासियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने में उनके प्रयासों की सराहना की गई।

सरपंच प्रभु रैकवार ने बताया कि यह सम्मान पूरे ग्राम मानिकपुरा के ग्रामीणों और पंचायत की सामूहिक मेहनत का परिणाम है। उन्होंने कहा कि जल जीवन मिशन के माध्यम से गांव के लोगों को स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित पेयजल उपलब्ध कराना उनकी प्राथमिकता रही है। इस उपलब्धि से टीकमगढ़ जिले के साथ-साथ पूरे क्षेत्र का नाम रोशन हुआ है। ग्रामवासियों ने भी सरपंच के इस सम्मान पर हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए इसे गांव के लिए गौरव का क्षण बताया।
