मंदसौर जिले के पिपलियामंडी महू-नीमच हाईवे पर तेज रफ्तार कार चालक ने स्कूटी को पीछे से टक्कर मार दी। इस हादसे में नाहरगढ़ थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम पिपलिया जोधा निवासी दंपति की मौत हो गई। घटनास्थल पर लोगो की भीड़ जमा हो गई। सूचना पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और दोनों को जिला चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया।

मंदसौर जिले के पिपलियामंडी में फोरलेन मार्ग स्थित रोड के राजा के सामने एक तेज रफ्तार कार एमपी 44 जेडजी 1773 के चालक ने तेज व लापरवाही पूर्वक कार चलाते हुए स्कूटी से जा रही दंपति के वाहन को टक्कर मार दी। इस हादसे में दिनेश पिता भंवरलाल महाजन उम्र 57 वर्ष निवासी पिपलिया जोधा थाना नाहरगढ़ जिला मंदसौर की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। वहीं पत्नी विमला बाई उम्र 55 वर्ष को गंभीर हालत में जिला चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया गया, जहां उपचार के दौरान विमला बाई ने भी दम तोड़ दिया।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार दोनों स्कूटी से पिपलिया की ओर जा रहे थे। इसी दौरान पीछे से आ रही तेज रफ्तार कार ने उनकी स्कूटी को टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि दोनों सवार सड़क पर उछलकर गिर पड़े और गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही डायल-112 पुलिस वाहन और टोल एम्बुलेंस मौके पर पहुंची। दोनों को अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।

पिपलियामंडी थाना प्रभारी विक्रम इवने ने बताया कि आरोपी रघुनंदन पिता राजकुमार नागदा, निवासी विषलवास, थाना वागन, जिला नीमच, अपनी अर्टिगा कार क्रमांक MP 44 ZG 1773 से मंदसौर की ओर से तेज गति में आ रहा था। कार चालक ने लापरवाहीपूर्वक वाहन चलाते हुए आगे जा रही स्कूटी को पीछे से जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के बाद आरोपी कार चालक मौके से फरार हो गया था, जिसे बाद में राउंडअप कर लिया गया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ प्रकरण दर्ज कर मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
